Campfires - In Year 90,000

Jeff Walls is one of those artists that is criminally under-appreciated. He’s a brilliant songwriter - his melodies are always lean, not an ounce of fat on ‘em. The production on his tracks is decidedly bedroom, too, but that only adds to the timeless meat and potatoes quality about them.

We put out one of our first 7"s with Jeff on Small Plates Records.  He’s moved from Chicago to Portland, and is back now with an incredible Mystery Scapes LP that’s a must-download (or on cassette from Terroir Editions) for all you garage pop fans out there.
