The sun came out. People started taking their clothes off. The Spotify House was hot during Big Data’s heavy-forced sesh while a wave of Texas humidity slowly began swirling down from a moist sky. I couldn’t help but wonder if we were all drinking enough water.

A lot of getting around this festival is about being a professional getting work done while getting drunk at the same time. I know that a lot of businesses cruize and booze, but this particular time and place fuels a strange but powerful cocktail that particularly palpable. I’d blame it on the humidity.

For me, most of this is about getting together with friends. It’s an ideal time and place to do so, if the weather holds. And despite thousands upon thousands of other sticky revelers, it seems to roll like a growing wave down 5th Street.
